It was thought that if a person could weld a weapon so well, then they could as well lead an army. The design of the army was both a work of art as well as a definition of design. The reason was that they were created to balance the work of both defending and attacking at the same time.

Nevertheless, nowadays, these artilleries are not used in combat. They can be found in museums or history rooms. However, there are persons who collect these pieces so that they can remind themselves of the era mankind came from.

So, medieval swords have an important place in our history. This is because they won wars and also protected kings. In fact, there are people who collect these pieces so that they can retell the tales of the olden days.
