Acquiring Arts at Shenandoah Performing Arts Camp of Shenandoah Conservatory

Shenandoah University is known to be a Level 6 private university and was founded in 1875. At that time, it was still known to be Shenandoah Seminary. Today, it offers more than 80 programs and has reached to as much as 3,000 students. The university also has six schools where one of these schools is the Shenandoah Conservatory.

Shenandoah Conservatory offers music, dance and theatre degrees. It also offers undergraduate and graduate degrees. It has over 60 degree programs at doctoral, masters and baccalaureate levels. The college has produced over 300 performances in a year.

Shenandoah University has six schools but Shenandoah Conservatory is considered to be the oldest. Luckily, the institution provides performing arts summer camps. This is where various students from anywhere in the country can join the camping.

There are a lot of things the participants can do when joining the camping of the Shenandoah Performing Arts Summer Camp. Activities like large ensemble participation or music coaching are guaranteed and all activities can last for up to two weeks. Fortunately, participants can also receive private lessons.

Anyone who is involved in the program will have the experience of a lifetime. Aside from the perks that they get to stay in halls that are air-conditioned, they can also take advantage of using the dining all. Additionally, many performances are implemented where participants can watch them and even get to own a festival t-shirt.

Middle and high school students can get to enroll in the Shenandoah Performing Arts Summer Camp where they get to learn so many lessons and improve their skills or develop new ones. Some of the lessons include vocal, dance, harp, orchestra, jazz, chamber music, piano and harp. It is also up to you whether you want to perform in a band or do a solo performance. Should you wish a solo, you can partake in a Concerto Competition where an orchestra will be with you as you perform.

Arts classes are not the only ones that can be acquired in the Shenandoah Performing Arts Summer Camp because other programs are offered as well. Some recreational activities are available for one's creativity to be boosted and also to improve their other talents. Students can engage on technology classes, sports and even join a picnic. Additionally, participants can also have that opportunity to watch well-known musicians perform by attending the Shenandoah Summer Music Theater production.

High school students from various parts of the United States can experience different activities provided by the Shenandoah Performing Arts Summer Camp for their personality and artistic development.
